Kingfisher Foods were awarded an AA+ certification from BRCGS under the ‘Agents & Brokers category following a two-day unannounced audit, assessing more than ninety requirements. This prestigious certification highlights the incredibly high level of dedication and expertise of Kingfisher Food’s technical department.

Kingfisher Foods were the first UK company to achieve the AA+ certification from BRCGS under the ‘Agents & Brokers category and are still only one of a handful of such companies. An auditor from a ‘top four’ retailer commented “What good looks like, gold standard.”

BRCGS comments on the Agents and Brokers certification “BRCGS Global Standard Agents and Brokers provides a framework to manage product safety, authenticity, quality and legality for businesses in the food, packaging and consumer products industries that buy, sell or facilitate the trade of products… These companies play an essential role in the movement and trade of products, providing a critical link in their chain of custody. They can influence their suppliers’ product safety and quality standards and are responsible for maintaining an effective chain of traceability. BRCGS Agents and Brokers certification is recognised by many retailers, food service companies and manufacturers around the world when assessing the capabilities of their suppliers”.
